Suh Deng is the 1st Council Elder of the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult. He was in charge of as a historian of the cult and was the responsibility of record keeping of all happenings within the Cult's history.

Appearance[]

Suh Deng wears glasses and has a youthful appearance due to under going Body Reconstruction after reaching the end stage of being a True Grandmaster.

History[]

15 years ago, Suh Deng was the leader of the Snake Sword Clan a sect that recorded all the history and happenings of the cult but due to the Wise/Dark Clan's continued interference in their duties, he had enough and led a night ambush on them with his entire sect but unfortunately failed due to a spy hidden within their clan. Mu Jinwon who didn't want to deal with them and reported their actions to the Lord.

Suh Deng was so loyal to the cult due his role as record keeper, that he and his clan immediately surrendered to the warriors from the Guardians unit as they came to arrest them. While the elders of the Six Clans demanded that he be executed but Cheon Inji instead exile him to Hainan Island in order to preserve his life as a sword against the corrupt clans.

Plot[]

During the competition for the appointment of new Council Elders ranking after Cheon Yeo Woon, ascension to the throne, he didn't volunteer himself but instead Marakyum recommended him and told his story to the Lord.

Cheon Yeo Woon became intrigued and orders Marakyum to bring back Suh Deng from his banishment. Yeowun already liked him for the fact that he had sided against the six clans. After this, Suh Deng then returned to the castle after fifteen years.

The final result of the Council Elder competition brought shock to the cult and greatly altered the rankings. Suh Deng took the First Elder spot and defeated Yin Moha who had trained in the Twenty Four Demon Sword Art. After being exiled for fifteen years, he dedicated that time to train and successfully reached True Grandmaster (End Stage Superior Master in novel) Level.

After three months, the cult was notified that there were the forces of the Blade God Six Martial Clan gathering at the borderline of Bokgun and Jurkang castle, so as the First Elder, he was appointed as a commander and took Bu Chu-Ryong, Ja Kinkeng, Hang Soyu as lieutenants to lead forces.

Unlike the expectation of the fight would big, there were only small skirmishes. What was heard from the spies working outside the cult was that it seemed that the Blade God Six Martial Clan was busy fortifying Jurkang and Kangsuh Castle and had no time to waste on the outside yet. But four elders were left at Bokgun Castle to be ready for any unexpected situations.
