The Negative Sword Clan, translated in the novel as the Buju Sword Clan, was a minor clan that comprises the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult as well as an affiliate of the Sword Clan[1]. However, they were an offshoot branch of the Blade God Six Martial Clan that subtly infiltrated the Demonic Cult over a decade ago in Cheon Inji's reign.
Through Yeo Bul Wi's machinations, he manipulated the previous lord, Cheon Yu-Jong. He gave him a faulty version of the Demonic Blood Reversal Technique which led him to slow insanity.
