The Guardian Family is a family of martial artists that have protected and supported the Heavenly Demon Patriarch for the entire history of the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult.
Three families, divided into the Great Guardian Family, Left Guardian Family, and Right Guardian Family, were among the founding families of the cult and always sided with the Lord, starting with Founding Father Cheon Ma. Unlike them, Six Clans weren’t there when the cult first started. It started with two apprentices of Sword Demon about five hundred years ago, but Guardians were there since the beginning.
Cheon Ma had said that a 'Demon' is sealed within the Demonic Cult and foretold that the one who bears the right will acquire the Heavenly Demon Sword. It was the legend of the Sealed Demon Cave that is famous among the Cheon Family. Hundreds of former Vice-Lord candidates tried their best to explore the cave, but none had found the Heavenly Demon Sword. And of course, there was no one who was able to learn and unfold the Sword Force of the Heavenly Demon. Then hundreds of years had passed. But even after a long period of time, no one succeeded in claiming and inheriting the title "Heavenly Demon" of Cheon Ma. Since then, the Guardian families have almost given up on this mission.
The Guardian Family as well as the Guardians of the Heavenly Demon's Order serve Cheon Ma and the successor of his title and will as their true master.
