The Flying Phantom Blade, also translated in the novel as the Ghost Illusion Blade, is a blade technique as well as the martial arts specialty of Elder Huan Yi and the Flying Phantom Clan[1]. A yin based martial art it requires the practitioner to be castrated in order to properly train and master the martial art, but the only exception to this was Cheon Ma who was able to master it because he had a special physique and preference in using ghost energy instead.[2] This martial art originated from the Heaven and Earth Society's Shadow Clan Master.
