Dragon Turtle is one of the Five Spirit Beasts described in the book entitled Moral Sutras of Heaven. Among the five, it was one of the two ferocious beasts that slaughter humans along with the Flame Qilin[1]. Like most spirit beasts, it grows stronger over time, generating greater spiritual power. The strength of dragon spirits is symbolized by the number of their heads and symbolizes the North[2].

History[]
In the past three-headed dragon possessed the power to annihilate five cities and claim thousands of lives. During the Yan Dynasty, such a beast appeared, leaving destruction in its wake. It was only through the combined efforts of the military and the Wulin martial forces that the creature was finally slain.
This event was not without precedent. Ancient texts recount an even greater calamity during the era of the Five Emperors, when a six-headed dragon spirit emerged in Zhongyun. The beast devastated half the population, plunging the world into chaos. To end its reign of terror, the legendary emperors Suiren, Fuxi, and Shennong united their people and vanquished the creature, securing peace for their land. These tales serve as reminders of the extraordinary strength and resilience required to face such mythical threats.
