Dokgo Gupae, also known as the Lone Supreme Warrior, [1] was a Martial Arts Master from the Mount Hua Sect that achieved the status of a Divine Master.
He was a well-known figure who iconized the Invisible Sword techniques. In the entirety of Wulin, he was known to be one of the "Four Great Warriors" alongside Cheon Ma, Bodhidharma, the Western Dharma, and Jang Sambong.
Trivia[]
- The character is a reference to Dugu Qiubai (loner who seeks defeat), a fictional character mentioned in Jin Yong's novels that attained the philosophical level of "swordsmanship without a sword". Dugu Qiubai lamented over his loneliness from being the greatest swordsman. His martial arts were studied by Linghu Chong of the Mount Hua Sect[2].
