Divine Master, or the so-called Life and Death Realm (生死境, 생사경), is a realm considered as legendary to the people of Wulin who cultivate martial arts that dreamed of reaching. Throughout the history of Wulin, there were only a few who had reached the Grandmaster and Enlightened Grandmaster Levels, but none who had achieved the Divine Master Level could be found since it was extremely rare occurrence for a person to reach Divine Master Level leading to many who couldn't believe in its principle[1].
A Divine Master is said to be along with other legends like the beginning of time, the origin of Shaolin, the birthplace of martial arts, crossing of the river with a single reed leaf and use of intangible sword[1].
A Martial Arts Master who has achieved this realm is said to be in a place of Life and Death, a legendary place where the best of Wulin is said to go when they reach this status. A reason is that it is a level where people of Wulin said that a state which cannot be achieved in life cannot be achieved in death[1].
A master of this level can produce and utilize Invisible Sword and are able to float in the sky. In order to improve and advance to the sublevels of this realm, one must dedicate time to train how to unify and concentrate their energy into one point enough to rip the space.
An initial Divine Master is able to freely control the space around their body, while one need to be at the Peak Divine Master Level to be able to control the entirety of space[2].
One needs to be at the Peak Divine Master level in order to utilize the Unification of Energy perfectly, though it can be used incompletely by Initial Divine Master level[3].
This realm is where one is capable to fight and contend with the Five Spirit Beasts that are known as disasters, as well as the ability to challenge one of the three Great Murim Forces single-handily [3].
Martial artists who have reached this realm peak or come close to Natural Realm may appear to have assimilated with nature.
