Baek Yu was the founding clan leader of the Poison Clan and was known as the Ten Thousand Poison Lord. He was knowledgeable about medicine as much as he was about poison and poison arts.
Background[]
He overturned the martial world’s conventional wisdom that the Four Seasons Tang Clan and the Guyang Clan couldn’t be defeated with poison, gaining renown after killing Tang Yeon-jong. He reached the realm of the Ten Thousand Poison Body, the highest realm said to surpass even the realm of a Poison Man.
He created the Wave Demon Poison Scripture, a fearsome and complex poison technique with eight increasingly deadly layers. Though he alone mastered it fully, his sons paid the price for attempting it one died, another was paralyzed, and only Baek Sa-ha, his second son, survived unscathed but filled with doubt. His martial arts were highly esteemed by the Heavenly Demon. He not only learned them from his son but also employed them in several of his own battles.
He is known to have created the Black Dragon Medicine Ball that is then distributed within the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult and a privilege to cadets who pass the test in the Demonic Academy.
