Baek Gi is one of Cheon Yeo Woon's most loyal followers and the very 'First Sword' but loses the title later due to improvements of other cadets and currently ranks as the Third Sword among the Six Swords. He is extremely proud as a martial artist and wouldn't back down against those from the Six Clans. He joined Yeo Woon's team during the gathering of yellow tags for the third test during the time in the academy.
Appearance[]
A young man with a side bang as well as top knot bun and a scar at his right lower eye. After 3 years at the academy, his hair has grown and tied in a ponytail manner.

During the second test at the academy, he bacame the leader of the 12th Group after defeating Cheon Jongsumin a duel. After passing the second test, Baek Gi separated himself from his group since they aren't that trustworthy and to avoid being poisoned by Jongsum.
On the day of the explanation for the third test, Baek Gi along Cheon Muyeon and Cheon Yeo Woon volunteered to fight an instructor on the spot to become capable of being a group leader for the third test. But unlike the other two, Baek Gi didn't manage to win and lose to Senior Instructor Hou Jinchang where he became pale and have red dots on his neck when attacked at his chest.
Close to dinner time at the same day, Baek Gi was eating at the Demonic Academy Restaurant (cafeteria in novel) when he was approached by Cheon Yuchan and Cheon Kungwun as they want to recruit him for their group which he declined both. Then another person approched him which is Cheon Yeo Woon in which he was told that if they don't talk, he might die later in which Baek Gi misunderstood and interpreted it as a threat. Yeo Woon then said that he might be poisoned and explained his observation of Baekgi during the fight against Hou Jinchang. Yeo Woon then see Doctor Baek and went directly to the infirmary wherein after inhailing the medicine smoke it is confirmed that Baek Gi is poisoned by micropoison and the suspect is Cheon Jongsum.
After the confirmation, he then thanked Cheon Yeo Woon for saving his life where the latter just waved it off saying that he's been looking for the source of poison as well. This is the first time he saw Yeo Woon's deep hatred and intense bloodthirst. Baek Gi then is advised to stay at the infirmary for a while because of his wounded foot.
When Yeo Woon returned to the infirmary with Cheon Jongsum who was hanging like a doll, Baek Gi questioned him of his actions and tried to join his side but abruptly stopped when Yeo Woon's members were approaching him. During Cheon Yeo Woon's detention, he joined the group and serve as the substitute leader for the meantime.
Descent of the Demon God[]
After the disappearance of Chun Yeo Woon, 'Baek Gi', 'Hu Bong' and 'Mun Ran-Yeong' are selected to be put in cryogenic sleep for 1000+ years by Chun Yeo Woon's disciple who is 'Chun Mu-Seong' and he confessed being a 'seer' to help Chun Yeo Woon in the future and since they have consumed Spirit Beast Blood they have better durability then others and can live longer and so they transfer themselves to the future 2069 AD.
